The
Mi.As.Yo. Milano Ashtanga Yoga Association announces
with great pleasure the next yoga seminar to be held in Milan by R.
SHARATH JOIS who
will be in Italy for the first time
SHARATH is Sri
K. Pattabhi Jois' grandson
and also the heir of his grandfather's teaching (he was a teacher
for all the Ashtanga Yoga students in the world); he spent his whole
life next to him and studied every day under his guidance for over
20 years beside helping him in his tuition to the students who year
after year increasingly arrived to Mysore, India from everywhere in
the world. Today he still continues the work started by Guruji with
great dedication at the Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute
in Mysore.
During the
next 2011 European Tour
SHARATH will spend one
week in Milan to share his teachings with students from Milan,
Italians or not. This will be an extraordinary opportunity to
welcome the Ashtanga Yoga tradition as taught from the most
authentic living voice and it will lead all participants to live a
fundamental yogic experience in their path.
